Founded in 1962, UVI is a public, co-ed, land-grant HBCU in the United States Virgin Islands.
V.I. HIGHER EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM (FREE TUITION)The University's Board of Trustees approved policies and procedures to aide with the implementation of Act No. 8155, the Virgin Islands Higher Education Scholarship Program, which requires that financial aid be granted to residents of the Virgin Islands for post-secondary education at UVI.
Students eligible to receive the Virgin Islands Higher Education Scholarship (Free Tuition Scholarship) will be required to complete and submit the Master Agreement Form via Financial Aid Document Upload/Portal. UVI INSTITUTIONAL SCHOLARSHIPSUVI Institutional Scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students are awarded
by the University of the Virgin Islands Scholarship Committee. All UVI on-ground students
(freshmen, current, transfer, graduate, and international students) will be considered
for UVI Institutional Scholarships based on their academic transcripts, completion
of the electronic scholarship application, and other documents as required.
